How the prediction works
- 1.We pull official marks-vs-rank pairs released by the conducting body for the most recent cycle of each exam.
- 2.If your score sits between two known data points, we use linear interpolation — the same method used in mainstream educational stats.
- 3.If your score is above the highest known point, we report the best known rank as a ceiling. We never extrapolate to a fake "AIR 1" — exact top-tier ranks need each year's actual results.
- 4.If your score is below the lowest known point, we report the worst known rank as a floor with a clear caveat.
Predictions are estimates based on prior-year distributions. Actual ranks depend on the current cycle's score distribution and tie-breaking rules.
